AHC annual operation expenses are funded primarily with tuition dollars. This means that tuition controls, in large part, the quality of the education we are able to offer. We are committed to continuing in our mission to provide excellent spiritual and academic training to students. While recognizing that some sacrifice is appropriate for something as crucial as children’s education, we know that financial assistance is necessary to provide this training to students who may need financial aid. Consequently, significant funds have been devoted to tuition assistance.

In order to allocate our resources wisely and fairly, we have enlisted help through the FAST (Financial Assistance for Student Tuition) program. FAST does not decide whether financial assistance will be given or how much to give; rather FAST provides the school with a report, which includes an award recommendation based on a families personal financial assessment. Applications are reviewed by the confidential Financial Aid Committee at FAST before being sent to Alma Heights Financial Committee for approval. Upon approval, offers are sent to families.

It is very important for families who anticipate needing financial aid to prayerfully consider and promptly apply. The process can take several weeks, and the deadline for applications to be considered for the first financial aid cycle for the 2012-13 academic year is February 24th, 2012. Two additional cycles will follow for those applying at later dates. Cycle #2 – May 31st and Cycle #3 – July 23rd.

To start the process, please do the following:

  • Click the FAST button. The application is self guided and will take approximately 45 minutes to complete once you have gathered your information. You may navigate in and out of the program allowing you to partially complete an application and go back to it at another time. Online e-mail and 24/7 helpline is provided. Please do not call the school with questions.
  • The charge for application is $36.00 and is to be paid by credit card at the end of the session.
  • After completing the online application you will be required to mail your 2011 tax returns for both state and federal taxes with all schedules and W-2′s to:  Fast Processing ISM, 1316 North Union Street, Wilmington DE 19806-2594
Please include the school’s name on the outside of the envelope to ensure faster processing of your application.
