What do you love about teaching?
Interacting with students that will most likely far exceed my own levels of expertise in many areas. I love seeing potential getting activated and transformed into relevant learning. I love to witness the "I get it" moments in a classroom setting.
What do you enjoy most about being at AHC?
Seeing good teachers striving to be great teachers. Watching master teachers pass on their craft to younger teachers. Watching students enjoy learning new concepts and seeing evidence in their lives of spiritual transformation.
How did you end up becoming a teacher?
My roommate in university talked me into completing my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education.
How do you invest in the lives of young people outside of class?
Chapels, office visits, class outings, church/community events, AYSO...

Students and their families are MUCH busier with all kinds of extra-curricular activities
