What do you love about teaching?
I love building relationships with young people and seeing them grow in all areas of life. Kids of all ages bring energy, passion, and out of the box ideas that challenge me to live life to its fullest. I am especially looking forward to sharing my love for fitness, games, and sports with the students of Alma Heights.
How did you end up becoming a teacher?
I love being with young people and the community spirit that surrounds schools. The job also allows me the freedom to spend time with my own family.
How do you invest in the lives of young people outside of class?
In addition to having four young children of my own, I enjoy coaching sports and working with young people in my church.
Name some interesting places in the world you've visited
I toured Eastern Europe with a Christian soccer team when I was 19 years old.
What excites you most about being at AHC?
AHC brings the greater Pacifica area together in a very unique and special way. I love to meet families that represent diversity within the Body of Christ and community. I also attended Alma Heights from 6th-8th grade and God used the school to radically change my life. If you would like to hear the details please send me an email or ask me in person!
