Having been with elementary children for over 14 years, I am really enjoying Middle School! They are full of energy but still need to know that someone cares about them. Teaching Art was a new challenge for me. I will be learning right along with them as I use a new curriculum. I see much creativity already!

I knew as a young girl that I either wanted to be a nurse or a teacher. When I was in High School, I worked in Medical Records at a hospital and saw firsthand of what some of the doctors and nurses went through on a daily basis. I decided that teaching was for me, instead.

I try to pray for the students. I try to encourage them in and out of school. I am also currently working with the Middle School and High School students at my church.

I am excited to see how God is blending the students in each class. God put the faculty together that was needed for both schools.
