  • What do you like about your job?

    I love handling the accounting and human resources for Alma Heights. This position allows me the opportunity to work closely with Parents and Staff in areas that can be sensitive and at times confusing. It's very rewarding to be serving the Lord in such a wonderful way.

    How did you end up working here?

    I ended up working in the school after my daughter started in Kindergarten. At first I volunteered my time. This gave me the opportunity to see the wonderful things God is doing in the lives of these young children.

    How do you invest in the lives of young people outside of class?

    I serve in the nursery at my church home. I have also chaperoned a few extended trips for middle school which has been a great blessing.

    What's changed most since you were in high school?

    The use of computers.

    Name some interesting places in the world you've visited

    Washington D.C. The history of our country is amazing! It all comes to life there.

    Name some interesting jobs you had before you became a teacher

    I worked for 20 years at Bank of America as a Vice President and Branch Operations Manager for several branches including one of the largest offices in California. I also worked as a Cash Management Officer helping Large Corporate clients.

    Have you ever won anything cool?

    A won a weekend trip to San Diego all expenses paid.

    What is your favorite thing to do?

    I love to laugh. I love spending time with friends and family over a nice meal sharing stories and laughing.

    What are you most excited about in this new partnership?

    I am most excited to see two great schools unite together to become even better.
