Dear AHC families,

We know you made an informed decision when you placed your student under our care and now we are asking you to consider telling a new family about your decision.  Word of mouth is by far the most powerful way to promote our school. We are looking for some way to express our appreciation to you for speaking highly of our school.

Please take advantage of this new incentive to recruit a new family. You may use the Family Referral Form to receive your award.  Meanwhile, take a moment to look over some of our more recent accomplishments:

  • We are officially registered as an I-20 school.  This means we can accept students in a foreign exchange format from many different countries.
  • Our High School program meets and exceeds all UC requirements that enable our graduates to go to the university of their choice
  • Alma Heights attracts students and families from at least 13 local/Bay Area churches
  • Our latest Stanford levels Achievement Test (SAT) complete battery results show that our median student across the grade tested three grades higher than the national average
  • Our HS student leaders take part annually in a Leadership Training Conference with many other Northern California student leaders.
  • Alma Heights was listed as having an “Exemplary School Program” in a national magazine for Christian Educators (CSE Vol 11 Number 1, November 2007) for the implementation of our Susan Barton Reading and Spelling Program
  • Our students have partnered with missions efforts in Mexico, Peru, Haiti and West Africa
  • Our High School students have partnered with City Impact in an effort to serve some of the neediest in our greater community.
  • Alma Heights is committed to pray for our students, our families and our academic programs
  • Alma Heights encourages a strong parent partnership in the education process
  • Our smaller class sizes enable more time for our teachers to interact and help each student with specific needs
  • Our school is fully Accredited (K-12) by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)
  • The PowerSchool program allows parents complete access to student academic progress any time from any computer
