The faculty at Alma Heights is made up of dedicated educators that love the Lord and have a desire to grow professionally. I think the greatest strength of Alma Heights is its genuinely Christian, caring teachers. We have a good mix of teachers who have served here for a long time, younger teachers with several years tenure, and teachers just entering the calling. They have in common a love for the Lord and an understanding of teaching as an essential ministry. It’s a privilege for me to work among them and to have them teach my children.
Our program offers a challenging educational experience for grades K-12. Our school was founded in the 1950’s as a Christian boarding school when this was a rural community. As families moved into the area in the following decades, the school changed to a K-8 day school. The high school has just been developing during this past decade.
Our purpose is to provide excellent spiritual and academic training so that students will be prepared for a life of service. We provide ministry opportunities for our students and encourage them to actively serve the Lord.
